Introduction to Mindfulness - 6 week course

Do you often feel like you're chasing your tail? Are the demands of daily life taking their toll? This friendly six week course teaches the basic meditation practices to help you get your life back into balance.
Mindfulness meditation can help you to:
reduce stress and anxiety
improve overall health and wellbeing
boost your mood
feel more relaxed
On the course you will learn:
simple techniques to use anytime and anywhere
how to establish a regular practice of your own
how to cultivate daily awareness & take a break from autopilot
how to identify your stress triggers and reactions
a variety of simple meditation practices, including breath meditation, body scan and sounds meditation
The aim is to give you the tools so that you feel comfortable enough to keep your personal mindfulness practice going on your own.
The introduction course is suitable for those with no experience of meditation. It may also be helpful for those who have some previous experience and want to re-establish a regular practice or learn some different techniques.
These courses can be arranged privately for organisations; groups of colleagues or groups of friends.
